Powys Rural Support Network: The Powys Rural Support Network (PRSN) was established in April 2001 in response to the Foot and Mouth (FMD) crisis. The intention was that it should combat the adverse impact that FMD was inflicting on the economic, social and personal lives of rural people. Its charitable object is “The relief of sickness and distress in Powys in particular but not exclusively, through the provision of charitable support, advice and advocacy service”.
