Rural Enterprise Works is a collaborative initiative to assist and support English rural businesses and the economic and social communities in which they operate. It has support from Defra and seeks to partner with other government departments and RDAs. It will be funded and supported by a unique combination of the public and private sectors and will be operated by Rural Enterprise Works Ltd for its community of rural business people and other stakeholders.
Career Steer: CareerSteer is an interactive career choice diagnostic tool. It is designed for people who are uncertain of their career direction. These may be people in education, starting their careers, career changers or those considering taking a course of education but uncertain about in which general direction.
Rural Biz Network: Online resource for East Midlands Rural Business. Ruralbiz.net is maintained by the East Midlands Rural Business Support Team. We offer access to a wide range of assistance for businesses in rural areas in the East Midlands region. Although there is a wide range of assistance and support in the form of grant aid and business support through various local, regional and national agencies accessing this can be a daunting prospect. We aim to provide a simple gateway for you.

Centre For Sustainable Development - Csfd: The Centre for Sustainable Development (CfSD) was established within the School of the Built Environment (SABE) at the University of Westminster in 1998, in recognition of that a growing number of research activities were convening under a common theme of sustainable development. CfSD provides a forum for collaborative research initiatives and supports joint working between researchers and academics from diverse research disciplines within the School. CfSD also hosts an University-wide interdisciplinary research network for staff members who are actively involved in research in various aspects of sustainable development. Our research is supported through funding from local authorities, central government, public agencies, the private sector, voluntary and community organisations, and international institutions.
